- Sure, you can receive your visitors, but you can also accommodate them in another apartment at the resort or in one of the hotels nearby.
- What are the expectations for the prices of the real estates in Curaçao?
- The prices for real estate in Curaçao are, despite the grow of the last years regarding to other islands, still a bit behind. The expectations are that on the middle long term the prices will increase further.
- Does Curaçao has a different law system?
- Curaçao falls under Dutch law, with some exceptions. Curaçao is also a constitutional part of the Dutch Kingdom.
- What will change after the dismantling of the Netherlands Antilles?
- Curaçao will become an independent Country in the Dutch Kingdom, basically the same as what counts for Aruba and soon for St. Maarten.
- Can I rent my apartments out?
- Sure, there are many possibilities for renting; for long or short term or with alternately own occupation.
- Can I buy a completely furnished apartment?
- Sure, there are basic arrangements in several option available. A tailor-made package is also possible.
- Do I have to speak Papiamentu, the local language, to make the stay at Curaçao easy?
- It will definitely make your stay more pleasant if you can speak Papiamentu, but almost everybody can speak Dutch or English, so it isn’t really necessary. A few words and sentences in Papiamentu are often very appreciated.
- Is the process to emigrate to Curaçao difficult?
